What’s Been Happening in the Raider’s ARK Program? – Spring 2025 Edition

Raider’s ARK Afterschool program provides a safe, secure, respectful and FUN educational environment for Arcadia students in grades 1-5, Monday - Thursday from after school until 5:30pm.  Students have the opportunity to work with engaging academic enrichments and skills practice activities, as well as homework completion. Our staff offers additional support in areas where students need a boost, including: reading, math, social skills, studying habits and language skills. Remember, our focus is FUN LEARNING! Snacks and transportation home are also included and there are no fees for Raider’s ARK participation.

Raider’s ARK has had a wonderful year of creating and learning! We have been making new friendships, as well as practicing our social skills. Partnerships with UW- Extension Youth and Family Education and 4H have provided students with additional scientific and engineering educational activities, too! We are hoping to go for an airplane ride before the end of the year and learn a little more about the science of aviation. If you would like to learn more about Raider’s ARK, would like to volunteer, or to sign up your students for next year, please contact Nancy Boehm, Community Learning Center Coordinator, at 608-323-3315 ext 3242 or Jackie Deniz at the elementary at 608-323-3315 ext 2501.
