Congratulations to Katie Schaefer, Pupil Services Director and recipient of the February Stronger Together Award. Katie leads with her heart and is always looking for pathways to let each of our students shine. She is a passionate leader that guides her staff through the pros and cons of each path a student could choose to take. Katie has implemented professional development building activities for paraprofessionals under her lead and communicates effectively to ensure everyone has the information they need. 

Ms. Schaefer leads by example and is always positive with her encounters. She provides great insight to the meetings she partakes in. She does not shy away when others are in need and often you can find her stepping into the classroom to cover when a teacher is gone or help cover recess/lunch. Not only is she a great leader but inspires those around her to achieve their full potential. Katie puts building relationships a first priority and ensures everyone’s thoughts and ideas are heard while making decisions. All decisions are made for the best interest of our students and to ensure we comply with state and federal regulations.
