Arcadia Masquers Proudly Present The Carol Burnett Show

The Carol Burnett Show is derived from the hit 1970’s American TV series namesake and is filled with variety of sketch comedy, skits, musical comedy, and vaudeville-style performances all starring Carol Burnett and her comedy troupe including Harvey Korman, Tim Conway, and Vickie Lawrence.  Ms. Burnett is known as one of the most brilliant comedians of all time. The show ran for 11 years, garnering 25 prime-time Emmy awards and inclusion on Time magazine’s list of “100 Best TV Shows of All Times.”

This show is a collection of various skits from the TV series, guest stars, a few musical numbers, the opening question segment, and of course ending with the  theme song, “I’m So Glad We Had This Time Together.”  Entertainers Katie Amundson, Karla Andrade, Maria Braun, Iris Coronado Perez, Linsy Cruz Angel, Angeles Flores, Wyatt George, Mercedez Hadley, Christian Juan Miguel, Peyton Nelson, Rae Schaffner, and Melissa Zapata will combine the spontaneity and energy of live performance with attention to detail and all the slapstick comedy you can think of.

The Crew consists of Michael Llanos - Sound, Emy Chama Laureano - Lights, Jennifer Perez-Cruz and Molly Servais - Tickets, Stephany Carreon Acosta - Video, Kamila Medrano - Costumes, Nyla Hamptom - MakeUp, and Alivia Hamptom - Usher.  Director Mrs. Schock is extremely excited for all to see the students' hard work and comedic prowess.

The Carol Burnett Show will be presented March 22 & 23, 2024 starting at 7:30 p.m. in the AHS Auditorium.  Tickets may be purchased 45 minutes before the show or advance tickets may be obtained in the high school office starting March.  Ticket prices are $5.00 adults and $3.00 students.
