Third and fourth graders, here at Arcadia Elementary, have an important week coming up - this Monday, April 26th through Friday, April 30th. During this week, your child will participate in an important state assessment, the Wisconsin Forward Exam.
This assessment is another tool in helping school staff and parents better understand your child’s academic progress.
How can you help your child be as successful as possible each day this week? Make sure your child:
- Gets a good night’s sleep - at least 9 to 12 hours each night Sunday (4/25) through Thursday (4/29)
- Eats a healthy and nutritious breakfast each morning (at home or at school)
- Follows a well known morning routine - using care so it is stress-free and calm
- Gets outside for some exercise, games, and fresh air (some examples include going for a walk as a family, playing a game in the yard, riding bike, playing soccer, etc.)
- Knows you, their parents, want him/her to do his/her best work Our staff will be encouraging your child to do his/her best work. Thank you for your encouragement and support in helping him/her be as successful as possible during this important week.
